Exhaust Air Purification
The requirements concerning the purity of the processes are always the same – however the exhaust gases themselves are as different as the respective processes. We have a suitable fan for all possible exhaust gas treatments. Regardless of pressure, temperature, contaminant composition or concentration of the exhaust air, we have an optimum solution for you. We will provide you with a customer-specific, highly efficient solution for your exhaust gas treatment system and, above all, in the case of very strict requirements concerning chemical and thermal resistance, abrasion, absolute tightness or demands for explosion-protected versions of fans.
We also guarantee you and your customers efficiency levels of more than 80 %, thereby exceeding the targeted energy efficiency of ErP 2015. For the various exhaust air purification procedures, such as Regenerative Thermal Oxidation (RTO), Direct Thermal Oxidation (TO), Catalytic Oxidation (CO), we supply fresh air fans, process fans, bypass fans and exhaust air fans – also for particularly high volume flows. Our wide range of materials and coatings, even at high levels of corrosion such as acids and bases as well as dust and moist vapours, guarantees years of operation – around the clock of course. For the impellers and parts that come into contact with the media, not only do we use high tensile steel but also normal or high-alloyed stainless steel, nickel materials, Hastelloy as well as Grade 2 and Grade 7 titanium for special applications.
Even in combination with temperatures of up to 1,000 °C we will find a customer-specific solution for your applications. With the right sealing systems, we can guarantee explosion protection for Zone 1 (21) and Zone 2 (22) in accordance with the ATEX Product Directive 2014/34/EU (formerly 94/9/EC). This also includes mechanical shaft seals, stuffing boxes or contact-free turbo labyrinth seals, also using sealing gas or return systems.
